Mayfield Veterinary Hospital was established in 1979 and has grown into a leading veterinary hospital for the local area. We provide high quality veterinary care and great personalised service in a friendly, professional manner.

Conveniently located with on- site, front door parking, we offer an array of veterinary services, including vaccinations, desexings, microchipping and surgery, as well as puppy preschool, and grooming. The fully computerised practice is equipped with modern medical equipment such as in-house pathology system, the latest x-ray equipment, ultrasound and advanced anaesthetics to ensure the best care for your pet.

Our Doctors Nigel Dunn, Michaela Keen and Peter Bartlett have over 50 years of combined veterinary experience. They have recently completed numerous post graduate courses and conferences to update and further their skills and knowledge. Michaela Keen B.V.Sc is available from Wednesday to Saturday.

Nutritional Advice, Prescription Diets and Premium Pet Food

Our staff are well trained to provide nutritional advice for your pet. We stock, recommend and feed our own pets both Eukanuba diets.

There are a number of Presciption Diets that are provide optimal nutritional support for a variety of disease conditions ranging from intestinal upsets & bladder stones to skin support and kidney disease.

Surgery

Surgery is conducted Monday to Friday in our dedicated sterile operating theatre. We not only have advanced equipment to monitor your pet whilst anaesthetised (Heart & respiratory rate, oxygen levels) but have a dedicated nurse monitoring your pet's progress during the anaesthetic till recovery.

Our Surgeons Dr Stuart Smith and Dr Nigel Dunn both have are particularly skilled in soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery having completed further studies in these fields
